My wife could have easily walked away from me the moment I opened up about my betrayal, but she chose to stay. She could feel deep down that I regret what I did, and she was willing to do her best in order to rebuilt our lives.
I knew I would do better for her and the little bundle of joy that we were about to welcome into our lives.
It did take time, but we slowly found our life back. When our child was born, I understood something important: her forgiveness didn’t erase the past, but it gave us the chance to write a different future.
