Furious, he stormed downstairs and found Esperanza in the kitchen. In front of his son and the security guards, he accused her loudly, calling her a thief. Esperanza broke down in tears, swearing she had not taken a single peso. Rodrigo mocked her and demanded she be thrown out. Without hesitation, Alejandro fired her on the spot, humiliating her and threatening police action. She left the house with nothing.
