The Trump administration claimed they launched the strikes because Iran was “preparing missile attacks on U.S. installations that could result in mass casualties.” But Pentagon sources told CNN and Reuters there was no intelligence backing that assertion.
Translation: The U.S. started this war. Iran is responding. And American troops are paying the price.
Three U.S. service members have been killed so far. Several more have been injured. The war is now in its tenth week. The U.S. has spent $25 billion. And Iran is still launching precise strikes on U.S. bases while Defense Secretary Hegseth promises daily “the largest strike package to date.”
This is not what winning looks like.
